Billionaire’s Daughter Expands Portfolio With $15.5m Paddington Purchase
Emily Palmer, daughter of mining magnate and former MP Clive Palmer, has continued to expand her real estate holdings with the acquisition of a $15.5 million Paddington residence purchased in cash.
Property records confirm the 31-year-old heiress secured the Weir Phillips-designed, Alvaro Bros-built home with no mortgage attached. The acquisition strengthens her presence in Sydney’s inner east, following a $4.25 million terrace she purchased in the same suburb in 2022, also without finance.
Palmer, who is a director of several of her father’s businesses including Mineralogy International Limited, has been steadily building her portfolio across New South Wales and Queensland. While her Sydney purchases reflect a move into the eastern suburbs’ prestige market, the majority of her assets remain in Queensland. There she holds multiple investment properties, several of which are leased, along with a high-value waterfront estate at Paradise Point that was transferred into her name by her father.
The Paddington transaction was managed by Ben Collier of The Agency, a leading prestige agent in the eastern suburbs. He did not provide comment on the deal.
